Goodwin Family Dentistry in Jewett City provides general dentistry. We do much more than provide dentistry to Generals…HeHe, we provide a wide range of dental care to patients of all ages from all over New London county including Norwich. Ours is in many ways an archetypal office, providing exactly what one would expect from a modern dental office. The central aspect of our office is prevention, based around the hygiene department. There, we maintain our patient’s health through regular cleanings, X-rays and exams as well as preventive treatment such as Fluoride treatments and education.

Dr. Goodwin and Dr. You provide dental care in Jewett City, Norwich and surrounding towns - when patient’s needs are other than that pillar of prevention. Our primary focus is on LISTENING to what our patients are telling us. We take great care to understand what our patients would like to have done. We as dentists are stewards of our patients care, NOT dogmatic authority figures defining the “one true way”.

Once we have an overall treatment plan, we can begin taking care of our patients needs often using dental specialists during our course of treatment.

Dr. Goodwin and Dr. You have a very clear focus on general dentistry treatment including; fillings, crowns, bridges, implant restorations, dentures (both complete and partial), porcelain veneers, splinting teeth, and some extractions. There are many extremely talented specialists in New London County area and we rely on a strong network of these specialists to provide treatment that is outside our well-defined focus of General Dentistry.
