At Goodwin Family Dentistry, we're here to help people. Basic dental care is a necessity no one can ignore forever. Cost, especially in this day and age, is a major factor that prevents people from seeking the dental care they need.

We have heard this enough times that we feel it’s necessary to take a moment and discuss dental “insurance”.  Dental insurance is not INSURANCE stall. Insurance provides a financial net if an unexpected event occurs... like auto insurance. Dental insurance is a benefit an employer provides that subsidizes the cost of dental care. It CAN be used for unexpected dental emergencies but it's really to lower the out of pocket expense for dental care. Everyone SHOULD be going to the dentist, regardless of insurance coverage. Especially those without insurance because problems caught early in dentistry and often much cheaper to treat.
 
We will work with your dental insurance company to help make sure you get the subsidy your plan provides. We are " in network" providers with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Delta Dental, Mashantucket Pequot and Guardian.
 
To minimize the strain on our patients budgets, we also offer outside, third party financing through Citi Health Card. With this program, patients can break down the cost of dental care into low monthly payments.
